Who We Are
Co-founders with a passion for making AI work for businesses
Bill founded Wingspan Technology to guide businesses in adopting AI effectively—delivering streamlined processes and scalable solutions that drive lasting impact.
He began his career at IBM, helping major financial institutions improve processes before moving to Hong Kong to lead an Enterprise Content Management project for Cathay Pacific. He went on to found a consultancy serving financial services clients across Asia, before returning to the UK to build a SaaS platform for charity fundraising and serve as a fractional CTO for several financial services start-ups.
Drawing on a background that spans software development, process optimisation, and entrepreneurship, Bill drives Wingspan’s mission: using AI to turn complex workflows into streamlined, scalable solutions for organisations of all sizes.
Ed leads Wingspan’s approach to building reliable AI workflows—joining the dots between tools, data and teams so operations run cleanly and at scale. As Co-Founder, he focuses on designing systems that strip out friction and give businesses the foundations to grow with confidence.
He began his career at Angel Investment Network, where he founded the brokerage division, helped build a data-driven CRM system, and went on to raise over £75m for more than 400 start-ups. Alongside this, he co-hosted the Startup Microdose podcast, interviewing founders behind brands such as Huel and Depop. Ed later joined AIV Capital as Vice President, working across late-stage venture and early-stage private equity investments.
His background at the intersection of fundraising, technology, and operations now drives Wingspan’s mission: turning complexity into clarity so organisations can move faster and smarter.
